Locally known as "Bamba," Colombo 04 sits immediately south of Colpetty. It is a highly energetic mix of commercial retail, massive student populations (due to nearby schools and institutes), and the undisputed technology capital of Sri Lanka. If you need a laptop repaired or want to buy local handlooms, this is where you go.

Key Shopping & Landmarks

• Unity Plaza: The absolute epicenter for IT and electronics in Sri Lanka. It is a multi-story mall packed wall-to-wall with computer stores, repair shops, and tech accessories.

• Barefoot Gallery: A stark contrast to the tech scene, this is an iconic Colombo institution. It features a beautiful courtyard cafe, an art gallery, and a high-end boutique selling vibrant Sri Lankan handloom fabrics and crafts.
